A leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dan Ulasi, has stated that the increasing political partnership between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso showcases ongoing endeavors to establish a national consensus prior to upcoming elections.
Ulasi emphasized that both individuals wield considerable authority in their respective territories, asserting that their alliance could transform the political arena.
Appearing on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Thursday, Ulasi remarked: “The Peter Obi, Kwankwaso phenomenon is a component of the initiative we are cultivating, constructing connections throughout this nation. Kwankwaso is not a name to be dismissed in the North, nor is Peter Obi a name to disregard in the South.
“Therefore, if by divine favor the two of them unite and one of them rises as president as we aspire, since it’s an unwritten agreement that the South will enjoy eight years, having had eight years with Buhari, we still have four additional years to fulfill the southern term.
“The notion of Peter Obi, Kwankwaso is set to evolve into an exhilarating and highly potent political movement that, if successful—as only God knows what tomorrow holds—will herald a new chapter of advancement and growth for this nation, and that is why we support Peter Obi.
“Based on current developments in the country, he (Peter Obi) has over 60 percent likelihood of becoming the President of this nation.”
