“Osun Gubernatorial Showdown: Gov. Adeleke Radiates Confidence in Upcoming Triumph!”

The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has conveyed substantial assurance in the capacity of his campaign committee to attain success in the impending election.

Governor Adeleke disclosed this information on Wednesday during the establishment of a 52-member campaign committee to lead his pursuit for re-election in the August 15 gubernatorial vote.

The inauguration ceremony, which took place in Osogbo, was graced by senior government officials and party associates and is presided over by the former National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Wale Oladipo.

While addressing the attendees, Governor Adeleke remarked, “I can sense the triumph, the downfall of our rivals. This team is destined for success. My spirit reassures that our party will be declared the victor with significant margins.”

He reflected on the circumstances that led to his victory in the 2022 gubernatorial election and urged committee members to mirror the same level of dedication.

“This is precisely how we commenced in 2022. Today marks the route to victory on August 15th. I now inaugurate this Campaign Council for the sake of continuity and the provision of effective governance,” he added.

According to information shared in a statement by the state governor on Tuesday, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Lere Oyewumi, will assume the role of Director General of the campaign.

The Osun State Commissioner for Information, Kolapo Alimi, was appointed Deputy Director General, while Pelumi Olajengbesi will serve as spokesperson and Bola Ajao as secretary.

Additional members of the committee comprise the National Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Diran Odeyemi, the Osun PDP Chairman, Sunday Bisi, and music celebrity Davido, among others.

The campaign committee has been assigned the responsibility of organizing activities aimed at ensuring Adeleke’s re-election for another term in office.
