A university scholar, Prof. Adams Agahiu, has highlighted what opposition political factions can do differently to assist in addressing the economic difficulties faced by Nigerians.
He urged opposition groups to collaborate with the federal government to foster swift economic advancement and community development, instead of resorting to adverse critique.
Agahiu, who serves as the director of the National Education Summit in Nigeria, expressed these views while conversing with reporters in Abuja on Monday.
He remarked that the nation’s current political and economic renovations present a unique chance to eliminate enduring obstacles to national prosperity.
“The political and economic frameworks that have previously hindered Nigerians’ success are being gradually substituted through the reorientation of the economy to allow for complete engagement,” he stated.
Agahiu also mentioned that the present administration has upheld democratic values since assuming office in 2023, encompassing adherence to the rule of law, division of powers, and safeguarding of citizens’ rights.
He additionally urged Nigerians to dismiss what he termed as misinformation purportedly disseminated by opposition figures against the government.
