“Actress Laide Bakare Embarks on a New Chapter: Third Marriage Unveiled!”

Nollywood star and filmmaker, Laide Bakare has revealed that she will soon be tying the knot for the third occasion.

In a recent discussion with content creator, Akin Abolade, the film icon mentioned it would be the first instance she would be getting married “formally” despite having two past unsuccessful marriages.

“I will soon be getting married officially for the first time ever,” she remarked.

The actress revealed that arrangements are already in progress for her nuptials.

However, she did not share the date of the ceremony or the identity of her future husband.

Laide Bakare has been wed twice. Her initial marriage was to US-based entrepreneur Olumide Okufulure, with whom she has a daughter, Simi. Following their divorce, she entered into marriage with Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, and the partnership resulted in two sons.

However, she departed from her second marriage after Orilowo was reportedly declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2014 concerning alleged fraudulent activities.

In a past interview on the Real Life With Aunty Ayo podcast, Laide Bakare expressed that she is open to having up to five marriages if prior unions do not succeed.
