“Time’s Ticking: Lagos CP Encourages Applicants to Finalize Police Screening Before Deadline!”

The Chief of Police, Lagos State Command, Mr Fatai Tijani, has encouraged candidates in the 2025 Police Constable Recruitment Initiative to finalize their evaluations prior to Saturday’s cutoff.

Tijani made this request on Thursday during a visit to the evaluation center at the Police College, Ikeja, where he reviewed the process and ensured adherence to established protocols.

This information is included in a statement issued by the command’s representative, SP Abimbola Adebisi, on Thursday in Lagos.

The commissioner engaged with officials from the Police Service Commission, the Federal Character Commission, and the Police Community Relations Committee overseeing the process.

The officials were present to guarantee equity and clarity in the procedure.

Tijani praised the degree of organization at the center and expressed contentment with the collaboration and professionalism of the involved entities.

He stated that the initiative was in alignment with the orders of the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Olatunji Disu.

He indicated that these directives were designed to enhance transparency and merit in police recruitment across the country.

The commissioner urged candidates who have not yet completed their evaluations to seize the chance before the closing date.

He cautioned that neglecting to participate within the designated timeframe could result in disqualification.

Tijani reassured the public of the command’s dedication to fairness, accountability, and integrity throughout the initiative.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the evaluations commenced on March 9 and will conclude on Saturday. (NAN)
