Beşiktaş have disclosed that Wilfred Ndidi suffered a hamstring ailment during Sunday’s Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe, as reported by NAIJATAB.
Ndidi was replaced in the 85th minute of the exciting encounter.
The Super Eagles skipper received a yellow card in the 52nd minute and is already facing a suspension for this weekend’s match against Alanyaspor.
This marked his fourth caution in the Turkish Super Lig this season.
Beşiktaş informed that Ndidi has begun receiving treatment from the club’s medical personnel.
The 29-year-old is anticipated to be sidelined for some time because of the injury.
