The Super Eagles settled for a 2-2 stalemate against Jordan in a friendly match in Antalya, Turkey, on Tuesday evening.
Musa Al-Taamari put Jordan ahead in the 17th minute.
Raphael Onyedika had a goal disallowed for offside for Nigeria seven minutes later.
However, the Super Eagles leveled the score through Moses Simon in the 26th minute.
Simon reacted swiftly inside the area, with a left-footed strike after Ademola Lookman’s attempt was blocked.
Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez gave Nigeria the lead for the first time in the match four minutes before halftime.
Fernandez controlled Bright Osayi-Samuel’s cross and struck a left-footed shot into the net.
The Super Eagles dominated early in the second half but were unable to extend their lead.
Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was substituted by Adebayo Adeleye in the 57th minute due to injury.
Mohammad Al-Daoud equalized for Jordan 13 minutes from the end.
Substitute Alex Iwobi was dismissed for unsportsmanlike behavior late in the match.
