“Unmasking the Shadows: APGA Links London Confrontation to Biafra Agitators and Insecurity Sponsors”

The organizer of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has denounced the alleged altercation involving Governor Charles Soludo by a faction claiming to speak on behalf of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, during a recent Town Hall gathering in London.

The gathering, aimed at informing the Anambra diaspora about Soludo’s development accomplishments, reportedly escalated as the faction accused the Governor of negligence regarding Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s detention and alleged involvement in assaults on youth.

In a declaration on Tuesday, Obigwe rebuffed the allegations, emphasizing that many of the “so-called agitators” were backers of instability in Anambra State, which Soludo has tirelessly sought to eradicate.

The declaration asserted that “criminal actors, posing as IPOB members,” instilled fear in eight local government areas, compelling residents to evacuate.

“The attention of the APGA Media Warriors has been drawn to a report indicating that Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State was confronted by a group asserting to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

“They charged the Governor with failing to secure the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and also accused him of orchestrating the assaults and slayings of youths in the region.

“In light of this, it has become essential that we articulate the following points for the sake of clarity and brevity.

“At the outset of Soludo’s tenure, he had appealed to criminal factions residing in the forests to emerge under his amnesty initiative and seek rehabilitation.

“Soludo urged them to surrender their weapons and engage in the development of Anambra State, which persisted for several months.

“Those who embraced the offer were readmitted into society while those in detention were granted bail.

“Furthermore, Governor Charles Soludo visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the DSS facility, where he denounced the Monday sit-at-home directive as unlawful and described the killings and kidnappings in Igbo land as intolerable.

“Despite these sincere and intentional efforts by the Governor, those troublemakers disguising as IPOB continued to hold eight local government areas of Anambra State in subjugation.

“Individuals evacuated their residences, and the economy of the entire Southeast was brazenly being undermined, to say the least.

“In response to the anarchy that pervaded the state, Governor Charles Soludo launched the Operation Udo Ga Chi, which comprises the Agunechemba Security Squad and all the Service Commands in the state aimed at halting the violence in Anambra State.”

The declaration continued, “Regrettably, it is indeed unfortunate that certain fifth columnists and misinformed individuals have opted to protest against the restoration of order, peace, security, and rule of law in Anambra State.

“Most of these so-called agitators have not returned home in the past decade for fear of abduction or murder, and their relatives have consistently advised them against coming back.

“It is clear that those who came to confront Soludo at the Town Hall meeting are the ones backing the killings, arsons, and instability in Anambra State, as they have essentially lost their investments in this violent and deadly endeavor.

“These fifth columnists are evidently the genuine adversaries of Anambra and indeed Ndigbo, considering that they are protesting against the peace and harmony our people are currently enjoying.

“We challenge them to return home for a firsthand and on-the-spot evaluation of the peace in Igbo land instead of making exaggerated and false claims.”
