Nigerian vocalist, Olawale Ashimi, recognized by his stage moniker Brymo, has ignited debate with his recent sexist viewpoint regarding apologies.
The Ara performer stated that it is inappropriate for a man to apologize to a woman when she is at fault.
He argued that any man who apologizes to a woman for her misdeeds deserves “suffering.”
On his Instagram account, the artist expressed, “No one ought to endure more than men who apologize to women when the women are to blame.”
“And they will indeed suffer from this point onward, and throughout the remainder of humanity’s earthly existence.”
Brymo’s stance provoked diverse reactions, with many asserting that his perspective overlooked certain relationship dynamics.
