Former Labour Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, has declared he will not accept any form of illegality during his presidency in Nigeria.
Obi articulated his views in a conversation with Trust TV.
Discussing the execution of fuel subsidy in Nigeria, Obi remarked, “Subsidy is systemic crime. I will not permit any type of illegality as the President of Nigeria.”
“The quantity of fuel they claim we use cannot be consumed by this nation. There’s substantial evidence.
“We are roughly equivalent in size to Pakistan, yet they possess more roads. We likely have a similar number of vehicles, or they may even have a greater count. Nonetheless, their fuel consumption is a fraction of ours. Who is consuming the surplus?”
