Legendary Action Star Chuck Norris Passes Away: A Tribute to His Fearless Legacy

Iconic Hollywood performer and martial artist Carlos Ray Norris, commonly recognized as “Chuck” Norris, has died at the age of 86.

Norris reportedly expired on Friday, March 19, 2026. In a statement, his family revealed that he left this world in the early hours after being admitted to the hospital the preceding day in Kauai, Hawaii. They mentioned that the details regarding his passing would remain confidential, adding that he was in the company of loved ones and “was at peace until he took his final breath.”

Hailing from Ryan, Oklahoma, United States, Norris garnered international acclaim as a martial arts champion before shifting into a fruitful acting career. He became widely recognized for his primary role in the beloved television series Walker, Texas Ranger.

Prior to his ascension in entertainment, Norris served in the United States Air Force and accumulated an impressive record in martial arts competitions. He subsequently founded his own martial arts system known as “Chun Kuk Do.”

At a time when many actors concentrated solely on either film or television, Norris distinguished himself by achieving success in both arenas. As he matured, however, he gradually scaled back his appearances on screen.

He also reached a younger audience through cameo roles in films such as Dodgeball (2004), featuring Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller, and The Expendables 2 (2012).

Throughout his career, Norris attained black belts in numerous disciplines, encompassing Karate, Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and judo.
