Galatasaray coach, Okan Buruk, has indicated that Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate incurred fouls too readily on Victor Osimhen during both teams’ UEFA Champions League matchup.
Buruk also condemned the match official Pawel Raczkowski, labeling him as the least competent referee for neglecting to intervene and safeguard Osimhen.
“Konate fouled Victor Osimhen far too easily in his position,” Buruk expressed in his post-match remarks, as reported by Habersarikirmizi.
“We anticipated the finest referee in the world, but instead, we got the worst referee in the world to officiate the match,” he continued.
The evening shifted from frustrating to detrimental for Galatasaray when Osimhen sustained an injury during the contest.
The Nigerian international was compelled to exit at half-time before the final whistle.
