The “passing” of the Christ Apostolic Church vocalist was broadly reported on social media and various news outlets on Monday.

In response to the news, the 86-year-old in a video shared on social media labeled the reports as untrue.

“Wonderful day to you all, I’m delighted to inform you that I’m in good health, and what you’ve encountered on Facebook is erroneous. I am confident I will thrive with extraordinary well-being.

“And I will depart to my creator in tranquility, not in illness, nor in anguish. I will live to a ripe old age just like my father Abraham. Thank you very much,” she expressed.
