The Nigerian armed forces have apprehended a suspected criminal known as Sule Yellow, who utilized the TikTok handle @suleyellow6 to endorse terrorist activities.
As per a report disseminated by @mobilisingniger on X on Monday, the suspect was arrested shortly after he purportedly received a ransom from the relatives of a abducted individual.
Prior to his capture, Sule Yellow had been notably active on TikTok, displaying the deeds of bandits.
On March 4, he allegedly took part in a livestream with another suspected bandit recognized as Auta and additional individuals.
Sources indicated that security personnel monitored his activities before proceeding to detain him.
Following the arrest, authorities also deactivated the TikTok account associated with him.
“The Nigerian Armed Forces detain a notorious bandit Sule Yellow after receiving ransom from the victim’s relatives,” the post indicated.
It further noted that “the security forces have since disabled his account following the arrest.”
