Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was among the travelers on Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 en route to Port Harcourt from Abuja. The flight encountered a crash during its landing at Port Harcourt International Airport on December 10, 2005. While the female cleric survived the initial collision, she succumbed to her injuries on December 11, 2005.
