The deceased athlete was born in Dakar, Senegal, on the 10th of March 1948. There is no data about his parents or siblings, but records indicate that he was raised by his grandmother.
He remained in Senegal until he reached the age of ten, after which he embarked on a pilgrimage to Montargis in the Loiret department with his grandmother, a devoted Catholic.
Upon arrival at Montargis, his grandmother enrolled him in a local Catholic school, Saint-Louis de Montargis. Shortly thereafter, Jean Pierre Adams was adopted by a French couple, who took him under their care.
Career
While continuing his education, Adams was already employed at a local rubber firm. He later contemplated a future in football and began playing for local clubs in the Loiret region.
