Death hoax : Garth Brooks ex-wife, Sandy Mahl not dead



Sandy Mahl Brooks, received a diagnosis of breast cancer which she overcame a year after her former husband’s wedding. A death hoax concerning Sandy Mahl Brooks emerged as Garth Brooks’ life narrative is prepared to be showcased in a two-part A&E special.

The narrative highlights the challenging moments of Garth’s existence – including his initial marriage to and separation from Sandy Mahl Brooks.

As per reports, Garth and Sandy were married for 15 years from 1986 to 2001 before he released his debut album in 1989 and became a prominent figure in country music.

Prior to Garth attaining fame, Sandy and Garth met while he was employed as a bouncer at a bar during his tenure at Oklahoma State University.

He intervened in a confrontation that Sandy was part of. They wedded in 1986, stayed together for 13 years, parted ways in 1999, officially divorced in November 2000, and went their separate paths in December 2001.

As a couple, Garth and Sandy have three offspring – daughters Taylor (1992), August (1994), and Allie (1990).

Sandy never remarried following her separation from Garth nearly two decades ago, while Garth has been wed to Trisha since 2005. Garth had been married to Sandy for 13 months when he encountered Trisha.

After the split from Sandy, he began a relationship with fellow country artist Trisha Yearwood, and they have been united in marriage since 2005.

Sandy is a survivor of breast cancer after being diagnosed with the illness in 2006.

Sandy was a songwriter during her time with Garth but now resides in Oklahoma where she co-founded the Wild Heart Ranch, an animal rehabilitation center. Her official designation is Wildlife Rehabilitator, Vice President, and co-founder.
