The Head of News at Television Continental, TVC, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, asserts that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State would have switched allegiance if he were in his initial term.
Otitoju made this assertion on Friday during TVC’s ‘Breakfast Show’.
He characterized the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ibadan last November as a complete triviality.
“Individuals must demonstrate sound judgment at a pivotal time. What was the purpose of convening that assembly? Two courts advised against proceeding, yet you forged ahead.
“I may not support former Senate President Bukola Saraki, but if he presents a logical argument, I will be the first to acknowledge it. He was sensible when he suggested pursuing a caretaker approach. Why disregard his advice?
“Eventually, you will be lamenting that the ruling party is behind your troubles, whereas you are the architect of your own problems. You instigated this issue.
“If Makinde were in his initial term, he would have escaped like the dancing governor because his subsequent term would have been at risk,” Otitoju declared.
