Alebiosu Shines Bright as Blackburn Rovers’ Player of the Season Contender!

Ryan Alebiosu has been nominated for Blackburn Rovers’ Player of the Season accolade, NAIJATAB reports.

Alebiosu joined Ewood Park from the Belgian Pro League club Kortrijk as a largely unrecognized individual last summer.

However, the 24-year-old quickly made a name for himself as an essential contributor under the guidance of manager, Michael O’Neill.

The right-back’s remarkable performances for Rovers also secured him a spot in the Nigeria squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Injury, however, restricted him to just one match in the tournament, with the Super Eagles finishing in third place.

Alebiosu has been regularly associated with a departure from Rovers.

Also put forward for the accolade are; Balazs Toth, Sean McLoughlin, Lewis Miller, Eiran Cashin, Sondre Tronstad, Ryoya Morishita, Andri Gudjohnsen, and Yuki Ohashi.
