Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila has encouraged the National Leader of the Nafiu Gombe-led faction of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and House of Representatives member, Leke Abejide to persist in causing disturbances within the party.
Gbajabiamila, who spoke during a birthday celebration organized by the legislator, praised Leke for “performing excellently” for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The Chief of Staff urged the legislator to disregard APC members who are urging him to join the ruling party.
He stated, “Do not join APC. Remain in ADC and disrupt them. We appreciate what you’re doing. Ignore former governor Yahaya Bello, who suggested you should join APC.
“No, no, no, remain in ADC and secure your election. Additionally, bring Bala Gombe, and we’ll support him. Best wishes in court.”
NAIJATAB reports that ADC has been facing internal disputes, causing a division within the party into two factions.
