“Blord and VeryDarkMan Find Common Ground: A Legal Peace Brokered by Sowore”

Renowned social media personality, VeryDarkMan, has consented to amicably resolve the current legal contention between him and famed cryptocurrency entrepreneur, Linus Williams Ifejirika, widely recognized as Blord.

This development follows the mediation of distinguished human rights advocate, Omoyele Sowore.

NAIJATAB recalls that Blord was detained in Kuje prison for 26 days on April 1, 2026, subsequent to his online conflict with VeryDarkMan.

In response to this situation, rights advocate, Omoyele Sowore criticized VeryDarkMan along with his attorney, Marshall Abubakar, for leveraging influence and legal expertise to incarcerate Blord, promising to facilitate his release.

In turn, VeryDarkMan, who had threatened to incarcerate Sowore, expressed disapproval of his form of activism.

Nevertheless, two weeks post his detention, the court granted Blord bail on self-recognition.

Speaking to the media after Blord’s bail, Marshall Abubakar, who also serves as Sowore’s attorney, stated that VeryDarkMan has agreed to amicably settle the matter.

In expressing gratitude towards Sowore for his involvement, Marshall, who mentioned that Blord is now like a sibling and companion to them, remarked, “We have collectively decided to collaborate and resolve this issue amicably. By the next adjournment, we hope to have settled the matter and update the court on our progress thus far.

“There is not much to add; the much-anticipated bail of our brother and companion, Blord, has been successfully processed. We can now refer to him as brother or friend. However, we do not intend to linger on past events. Regarding what transpired in court today, we must commend our leader, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, for his contribution.

“We must also recognize VeryDarkMan for agreeing to ensure this matter is resolved amicably today. He has assured both the public and even the prosecution of his willingness to settle this issue. The fact remains that VeryDarkMan felt wronged concerning this situation, and the manner in which our friend, Blord, approached this issue was indeed regrettable. One does not offend an individual in Africa and expect them to respond passively. As a man feeling aggrieved, VeryDarkMan has the right to seek police and judicial remedies for an issue that carries criminal implications.

“This situation constitutes a criminal prosecution. However, we wish to refrain from focusing on past incidents. We are now committed to resolving this issue amicably. Both Blord and VeryDarkMan are respected young individuals in our nation today. The future of this country rests in the hands of the youth, who are brimming with aspirations and contributions,” Marshall revealed.
