Manchester City have become the inaugural team to advance to the semi-finals of this season’s FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola’s squad demolished Liverpool 4-0 in the initial quarter-final matchup held on Saturday.

Erling Haaland initiated the scoring from the penalty spot after Nico O’Reilly was tackled in the box, then headed in the second goal prior to halftime.

Antoine Semenyo netted early in the second half, concluding an excellent team play, before Haaland finalized his hat-trick.

The other quarter-final matches set to take place today will feature Arsenal visiting Southampton and Chelsea hosting Port Vale.
