Liverpool icon, Steven Gerrard, has disclosed that Mohamed Salah will move to a Saudi Pro League, SPL, team this summer.
During his appearance on The Overlap’s Stick to Football segment, Gerrard dismissed Gary Neville’s notion that Salah might land at Chelsea or Arsenal.
“I don’t believe he would opt for that,” Gerrard remarked.
“I wouldn’t be astonished if it’s another prominent club somewhere else, but I don’t think he will transfer to a competitor in England.”
“I anticipate it will be Saudi. Having resided there and witnessed the high regard in which he’s held, that’s where I’d place my bet.”
Salah has subsequently affirmed he will depart Liverpool once the season wraps up.
