Nigerian human rights campaigner, Omoyele Sowore, has asserted that incarcerating Blord due to the proficiency of VeryDarkMan’s legal team is not a triumph.
Sowore made this assertion hours subsequent to a Federal High Court session in Abuja where Blord was ordered to be held in Kuje prison for 26 days.
NAIJATAB reports that Blord was committed on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, for impersonation of VeryDarkMan, forgery, deceitful endorsement, violation of privacy, identity theft, among other accusations.
However, in response to the news, Sowore, in a Facebook update, criticized the manner in which the case was managed.
While alleging that VeryDarkMan and his attorney, Marshal D F Abubakar, were suppressing Blord, Sowore emphasized that triumph should stem from the strength of the case rather than legal ingenuity.
He articulated, “I have perused the court-mandated detention of an individual named B-Lord, and I must express clearly that no one should rejoice at the imprisonment of any person under the pretense of legality.
“I have contacted my esteemed rights attorney, Marshal D F Abubakar, urging him to withdraw from the matter. We must all concur that sending B-Lord to prison is not a victory for legal acumen or advocacy. Rather, it threatens to fortify a system of oppression that wields the law against its citizens.
“Justice should never be diminished to mere punishment for its own sake. I will strive to ensure this case is terminated, and B-Lord is liberated without any further delay.”
