Super Eagles pair, Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke have been shortlisted for the Liga African Player of the Season accolade, NAIJATAB reports.
Adams and Ejuke will compete against 18 other African talents for the accolade.
Athletico Bilbao’s Inaki Williams, a two-time winner of the accolade, along with Sevilla’s trio Pape Gueye, Thomas Partey, and Nicolas Pepe, as well as Levante’s Karl Etta Eyong are some of the additional nominees.
This year’s rendition of the accolade, which marks the fifth edition, will take place in Lagos, Nigeria.
Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze and Morocco’s international goalkeeper Yassine Bounou are the other two previous recipients of the accolade.
Supporters throughout Africa will play an essential role in determining the victor through a voting procedure that merges public opinion with the evaluations of a panel of specialists.
