Controversial media figure, Ifedayo Olarinde, widely recognized as Daddy Freeze, has suggested that faith is hindering the advancement of Nigeria.
In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Daddy Freeze asserted that religion yields no outcomes.
He contended that secular nations like Japan are more advanced and enjoy superior living conditions, noting that Nigeria has the lowest life expectancy globally, even though it is among the most devout countries.
“How is faith benefiting us?,” he inquired.
“My concern with religion is – it produces no outcomes. Where is the prosperity? Where is the affection? You claim God loves us because we are devout, so why are the Japanese the ones relishing their own paradise on earth? They are advanced.
“We possess nothing but we believe in this ‘God that blesses us.’ Yet, when we genuinely enumerate the things we consider as blessings – prosperity, health… Were you aware that Nigeria has the shortest life expectancy in the world according to the 2026 statistics – 54 years?
“We contribute more tithes than taxes in this nation, yet our prayers and offerings don’t appear to manifest in the state of our country,” Daddy Freeze commented.
