Undercover reporter shot dead in Accra

A Member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye Private Investigatons team and undercover investigator, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, has been murdered. Local media reports that Ahmed was shot three times, two times in the chest and once in the neck, while he was driving home late last night, at Medina in Accra, Ghana. The undercover investigator was shot by unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle. Another member of the Anas team, said, “He was just shot and killed, nothing was taken from him.” Ahmed’s devastated colleague also added that the corpse of the deceased has been taken to the Police Hospital morgue and that Ahmed might be buried very soon according to Islamic rites. Two shot, one dead as police clash with Shi’ite protesters at National Assembly

One person has been left during as the Nigerian Police Force clashed with Shi’ite protesters at the gate of the National Assembly. The Shi’ites were heading to the National Assembly to protest the continual detention of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheik Elzakzaky. Elzakzaky had been granted bail by a court but the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has refused to release him citing security reasons. The protesters clashed with the police at 1:15pm on Tuesday. The police were already stationed at the gate of the National Assembly waiting for them. Two persons were shot in the course of the protest but the body of a boy around 15-years old was seen being carted away by the Shi’ites.

Lindley Dodson: How Bharat Narumanchi shot and killed pediatrician

Lindley Dodson, a female pediatrician was shot and killed on Tuesday night by Bharat Narumanchi, a terminally ill doctor who took her hostage alongside other employees. The tragedy took place at Children’s Medical Group in Austin, Texas. Narumanchi arrived at the practice with a pistol, a shotgun and two duffel bags at 4.30pm. He then took the mother-of-three hostage along with four other employees. The four others either escaped or were let go by Narumanchi, but he held onto Dodson. After a six hour stand-off during which police negotiators pleaded with him not to kill her or harm himself, Narumanchi shot Dodson dead then killed himself.
