Sowore Confirmed as AAC National Chairman in Landmark Court Decision!

The Appeals Court assembled in Abuja has affirmed the publisher of SaharaReporter, Omoyele Sowore, as the National Leader of the African Action Congress (AAC). Sowore had, in an appeal numbered CA/A/812/2019, challenged a High Court decision delivered by Justice Inyang Ekwo, which designated one Leonard Nzenwa as the Acting Leader of the party. The AAC presidential aspirant also urged the court through his lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, to invalidate the judgment of the lower court and grant all the demands put forth by the appellant. Governors chosen under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have further streamlined the list of prospective presidential contenders to three at the ongoing National Convention in Abuja. NAIJATAB NEWS had earlier revealed that APC governors presented a five-member roster of contenders from the southern region to President Muhammadu Buhari for assessment.
