President Muhammadu Buhari is set to unveil the N19.76trillion 2023 Appropriation bill to the National Assembly on Friday.
The budget unveiling is slated for 10:00 am in the provisional chamber of the House of Representatives.
President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan, articulated President Buhari’s correspondence regarding the budget presentation during Tuesday’s Plenary.
NAIJATAB NEWS recalls that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has disclosed that Buhari will present the 2023 budget to the National Assembly in October.
Gbajabiamila hinted as much on Wednesday following an inspection of hearing rooms 028 and 234 within the House.
These rooms will act as the temporary chamber owing to the ongoing refurbishment of the House complex.
“I am optimistic that the budget will be presented no later than the first week of October,” NAN quoted him as saying.
