Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, has affirmed the prolongation of the current ongoing continuous voter registration.
Yakubu stated that the electoral agency will not conclude voter registration on June 30, 2022.
He revealed this during the Youth Vote Count concert on Saturday at the old parade ground, Abuja.
“The second aspect is you wish to know when this registration will conclude. Will it finish on the 30th of June in the next five days? On behalf of INEC, allow me to reassure you, e no go end for 30th June for as long as we have you individuals attempting to register to secure your PVC, we will continue to register you and ensure that you obtain your PVC,” Yakubu mentioned.
