European Union ambassadors launch 16 days of activism against gender-based violence
The ambassador of the European Union, H. E. Manfredo Fanti, in conjunction with the ambassadors from the EU’s member nations, H. E. Nabil Hajlaoui (France), H. E. Peter Hughebaert (Belgium), H. E. Theresa Zitting (Finland), H. E. Regine Hess (Germany), H. E. Mary O’Neill (Ireland), and H. E. Marco Lombardi (GBV).
The yearly worldwide initiative, themed “Take Action to Prevent Femicide Against Women,” aims to enhance awareness of GBV and advocate for global action and advocacy efforts to eradicate violence against women and girls from 25 November to 10 December 2022.
