“ADC Chairman Claims Ireti Kingibe Received N100M Ahead of FCT Elections, But Results Remain Hidden!”

The Chairperson of the African Democratic Congress, Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Omale Sule, has claimed that the FCT Senator, Ireti Kingibe, obtained N100 million from the party’s national leadership prior to the Area Councils’ election.

Sule made this assertion on Friday while speaking to reporters in Abuja, the capital city of the nation, emphasizing that they did not witness the funds.

This follows the FCT branch of the ADC approaching the Federal High Court in Abuja to prevent the legislator from portraying herself as a member of the party.

The AMAC ADC chairperson stated, “We heard that N100 million was allocated to Senator Ireti Kingibe from ADC National just before the FCT local government election, but we never received anything from her.”

“The most concerning aspect is that she does not engage with the party structure. One can establish their own framework outside of the party’s. Everyone, even the president of our nation today, has a Ward from which he hails, and whenever meetings are called that he cannot attend, he finds a way to communicate.”

“However, in our situation here, the only Senator we have who is our representative in FCT is not participating in meetings. She doesn’t even coordinate with the state chairs.”
