“Wave of Politicians Seeking Alliance with PRP, Says Hakeem Baba-Ahmed”

The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has stated that numerous politicians are expressing interest in joining the party in anticipation of upcoming elections.

He revealed this during an interview on Arise TV, where he characterized the PRP as a credible political alternative and mentioned that its doors are welcoming to new members.

“In the past three or four weeks, you would be astonished at the number of individuals who have contacted us and stated, ‘We’re joining your party,’” he remarked.

According to him, the party is prepared to accept anyone eager to join.

“Our doors are open to anyone wishing to come in, whether independently or because the system has blocked and nearly dismantled their party,” he mentioned.

Baba-Ahmed further stated that the party’s role in the upcoming months would be significantly larger than previously.

He emphasized that the rising interest reflects trust in the PRP.

“We view our role in the upcoming months as immensely greater than anything we have accomplished before,” he asserted.

He elucidated that those joining the party are not doing so out of despair but because of its enduring principles.

“They are not merely arriving as political exiles. They are joining because we uphold a party of values,” he stated.

The PRP chairman characterized the party as one of the most established in the nation.

“We are roughly 70 years old. We have consistently adhered to specific principles,” he added.

While recognizing that time may pose a challenge in generating momentum, Baba-Ahmed conveyed confidence that the party would surmount it.

“We understand Nigerians are prepared for genuine difference, real transformation in how this country is governed,” he noted.

Baba-Ahmed also highlighted that the party is actively interacting with individuals interested in joining and has established fundamental conditions for entry.

“They are aware our doors are open. They know they are welcomed. However, we request that they join the party first before we begin discussions,” he stated.
