NAIJATAB recalls that Rema rose to fame after signing with Mavin Records and unveiling his inaugural EP in 2019 at the age of 19.

In the lyrics of his latest track featuring French artist Sofiane Pamart titled ‘Moviestar,’ Rema disclosed that he was influenced by substances by women during his youth.

The 25-year-old conveyed that admirers do not comprehend his emotional struggles because they are unaware that he “became entangled at such a young age.”

He sings, “Women often provide me substances.

My joy is stored away in their small handbag.

Companions consistently make me feel deprived….”
