“Kun Khalifat FC’s Nmesoma Optimistic About Beating Relegation Odds”

Kun Khalifat FC midfielder Nnorom Nmesoma expresses that they are in elevated spirits in anticipation of the remaining fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.

The Owerri-based squad is set to face Warri Wolves, Plateau United, Kano Pillars, Abia Warriors, and Wikki Tourists in their concluding five league matches of the season.

Kun Khalifat FC currently occupies the last position on the NPFL table with 36 points from 33 matches.

Nmesoma affirmed that the athletes will tackle the matches with concentration and resolve.

“As players, we are in a positive mood as we have enjoyed a decent run, hence the confidence is high,” Nmesoma remarked to Kun Khalifat FC media.

“We are aware that the stakes are elevated, especially as we approach the five remaining matches in the NPFL.

“Everyone will enter the game fully concentrated and assured so we can perform to our best.”
