Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland, on Saturday, eclipsed Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane after netting a hat-trick for the Cityzens in the FA Cup.
It’s worth mentioning that Haaland found the net three times against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final clash at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The match concluded 4-0 in favor of the home team as Pep Guardiola’s squad advanced to the FA Cup semi-final round.
Nonetheless, according to OptaJoe, since Haaland’s debut with Manchester City in July 2022, the Norway international has recorded 12 hat-tricks across all tournaments.
He now holds the title of the leading hat-trick scorer in Europe’s top five leagues, surpassing Kane (11) by one.
Haaland will aim to maintain his exceptional form for Man City when they face Chelsea in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge next weekend.
