Joshua Selman Nimmak, recognized as Apostle Joshua Selman, is a Nigerian Gospel minister, conference speaker, and televangelist. He is the creator and Senior Pastor of the Eternity Network International (ENI). The (ENI) hosts a program, Koinonia, a gospel fellowship conducted weekly in Samaru, Zaria, Kaduna State, as well as Abuja, Nigeria.

Early life and education

Apostle Joshua Selman Nimmak was born on June 25, 1980, in Zaria, situated in Nigeria’s Kaduna State. His hometown is Langtang in the Plateau state of Jos. Joshua grew up in a Christian environment and exhibited an early enthusiasm for spiritual matters. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria.

Ministry

During his college years, Selman along with some friends evangelized to student groups at various invitations. This marked the inception of Selman’s Christian ministry. On March 11, 2011, he later established the Eternity Network International (ENI), also referred to as Koinonia, in Zaria, Kaduna state. ENI was founded to transform lives through worship and Biblical teachings.

Eternity Network International, also known as Koinonia Global, has a branch named Koinonia Abuja in Abuja, Nigeria. The inaugural teaching was presented by Apostle Joshua Selman Nimmak on Sunday, February 28, 2021, symbolizing the start of the organization. Hundreds of individuals attended, spilling out into the streets.

On May 11, 2023, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey and Apostle Selman convened an Apostolic Conference in the UK. The “Sound of Revival” conference drew a full crowd of 21,000 participants and was hosted at Manchester’s AO Arena.

In December 2018 and April 2020, Joshua Selman was recognized by YNaija as one of the 100 most influential Christian ministers in Nigeria.

Marriage

Selman has never been wed.

Selman has openly addressed his decision to remain unmarried, expressing a commitment to focus on his ministry. In a video from 2022, he mentioned that marrying would “detract his time and energy from serving God.” He elaborated that he wishes to “utilize [his] energy wisely while [he] possesses it.”

Selman has expressed satisfaction with and no regret regarding his choice to remain single.
