His actual name is Ani Jeremiah Chukwuebuka; he was born on the 6th of May 1998 and was raised by his mother in Nkpor Onitsha Anambra state; details about his father remain unknown.

Jeriq is the eldest child in a family of five; due to this, he faced a challenging upbringing that fostered a hustler’s mindset, a reason for his stage moniker.
