The British Council, Microsoft team up to provide e-learning program for creatives

As a component of the British Council Creative Economy Ms E-Learning Initiative, Microsoft alongside the British Council is welcoming creatives aged 18 to 35 to submit their applications.

While participants from the rest of sub-Saharan Africa will engage online, those attending in-person will gather in Zimbabwe, where the program will consist of interactive workshops.

The initiative aims to empower young African entrepreneurs within the creative sector as they contribute to the continent’s future. Furthermore, it strives to provide creative business proprietors with networking opportunities and the exchange of knowledge, as well as an understanding of creative business management at various tiers, ranging from novice to expert. The primary focus of the forthcoming two-day workshops will be on creative entrepreneurship.

The E-Learning program emphasizes entrepreneurship and provides numerous free online courses to support the continent’s future leaders in their career pursuits.

Upon completing the program, participants will be awarded a certificate as a testament to their achievement. Additionally, they will be eligible to seek ongoing assistance in the form of coaching, incubation, mentoring, and acceleration through the certificate.
