
The market capitalization rose by N10 billion following trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), as bulls regained dominance over the local stock market.
Concurrently, the All Share Index (ASI) increased by 0.04% to finish at 48,899.08 points.
The valuation of the stock market stood at N26.6 trillion at the closure of trading on Monday, December 12. The stock market has seen a rise of 6182.64 basis points, equivalent to 14.47%, throughout this year.
Market breadth, however, concluded the trading session in the negative territory, with ROYALEX heading the list of 12 losers and LEARNAFRCA at the forefront of 10 gainers.
