The Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco on Friday announced that five citizens from China were among those affected in a shooting in the California locality of Half Moon Bay.
The incident in Half Moon Bay on Monday, where seven individuals lost their lives, marked the second of two shooting sprees in California within a short span, resulting in a total of 18 casualties.
“The Consulate General is in contact with the appropriate U.S. authorities to monitor the status of the investigation.”
A representative stated that the Consulate General vehemently denounced the act of violence.
