“2027 Insights: Adelabu Shares How Tinubu Guided His Resignation”

The recently former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has stated that, contrary to speculations, he had discussions with President Bola Tinubu prior to his resignation.

Adelabu made these remarks in a declaration provided to NAIJATAB on Saturday.

NAIJATAB reports that Adelabu stepped down to pursue his gubernatorial aspirations in Oyo State, under the banner of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

There were claims that Adelabu failed to conduct the necessary consultations before his departure.

In the statement shared with NAIJATAB through his Media Aide, Femi Awogboro, Adelabu clarified that his resignation was not in any manner opposed to Tinubu’s preferences.

The statement indicated, “Adelabu indeed received the complete endorsement and approval of President Tinubu prior to his decision to resign. Those propagating untrue rumors should refrain; such assertions are unfounded.

“Critics possess nothing substantial to argue against Adelabu and are merely disturbed by the extraordinary turnout that greeted him upon his return to Ibadan last Thursday.”
