Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have organized a demonstration in the United Kingdom during President Bola Tinubu’s official visit, advocating for the prompt release of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The protesters assembled at significant sites throughout London, including Parliament Square, 10 Downing Street, the Commonwealth Office, and the Nigerian High Commission.

In a clip circulating online, one activist was heard stating, “Our message is unequivocal: Tinubu does not merit a royal salute. That is our position today, the 18th of March.”

Demonstrators were observed carrying signs with the message, ‘Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’.

Numerous individuals donned red caps and waved Biafra flags, a horizontal tricolour of red, black, and green, showcasing a golden rising sun at the centre of the black band.
