Leo Mezie Advocates for Apostle Johnson Suleman During the Stephenie Otobo Controversy
“I have been encountering various accounts from different sources regarding Apostle Suleiman and Stephenie Otobo along with other commentary. Some people expressed skepticism as to why the apostle would aid someone he had never met. It pains me since Apostle Suleiman had never met me before his help. I had never heard of him or encountered him until he learned of my situation, verified it, and reached out to me.
This is a man I had never seen or known, yet he sent me 8 million to cover my medical expenses in the UK. He consistently checked on my condition and even sent church members in the UK, Pastor Ejiro and Pastor Daniella Williams, to visit me frequently. When I returned, I visited him to convey my appreciation. Thus, to question why he would provide assistance to someone he had not encountered is unreasonable.
Recognize that Apostle Suleiman, whom I know and have met several times, does not travel solo; he travels with a large group wherever he goes globally. Furthermore, Apostle Suleiman is very devoted to his family, and his wife often comes up in his discussions. Lastly, while Apostle Suleiman is generally friendly and sociable, he would never take indecent photographs of himself or with anyone as Stephenie Otobo alleges. Ultimately, his kindness and generosity will not jeopardize his reputation or lead to troubles; not a million Stephenie Otobos can dissuade him from fulfilling his duty. I, Leo Mezie, can attest to this! Instead of cursing Stephenie Otobo, I will pray for her that the Almighty may grant her mercy in Jesus’ name, Amen.
