Joseph Egbunike possesses a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, alongside a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons), a Master’s in International Law and Diplomacy (MILD), and a PhD in Criminology.

He has been part of the Nigeria Police Force for 33 years and presently serves as the Deputy Inspector General of Police.

Joseph participated in the National Youth Service Corps as an Account Bills Officer in the Group Accounts Division at NNPC Headquarters in Falomo (NYSC).
