Forces of Sector 3 Operation WHIRL STROKE (OPWS) have detained two alleged abductors in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
This was reported in a message shared on X on Friday by security expert Zagazola Makama.
As stated by Makama, the operation commenced on March 11 at approximately 9 am, when security forces proceeded to Arufu Village.
“They captured one suspect who initially refuted involvement but later confessed to taking part in kidnapping events earlier in February.
“A subsequent investigation resulted in the apprehension of another accomplice in Chinkai Village. Items seized from the suspects included two mobile devices, a homemade knife, and the amount of N21,520,” Makama noted.
The suspects and the recovered items are presently in the custody of the forces as inquiries continue.
