Adaora Umeoji is set to assume the role of Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Plc on June 1, 2024. She will replace Ebenezer Onyeagwu, whose five-year leadership as CEO concludes on May 31, 2024. Zenith Bank announced this on March 19, 2024, via a statement on its official website. This appointment is momentous, as Adaora Umeoji will be the bank’s inaugural female GMD/CEO since its establishment in May 1990. The Deputy Managing Director of Zenith Bank, Dame (Dr) Adaora Umeoji, has constructed and contributed a top-notch building for the benefit of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Dobi, Abuja. The inauguration/dedication of the new parish structure to the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja occurred recently.
