The African Union is honoring Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) engaged in Youth, Women, Peace, and Security to advance and advocate for common African stances on matters pertinent to the continent and its inhabitants.
The award seeks to recognize the vital role that civil society has played in the execution of the WPS agenda.
This endeavor aligns with the aims of the African Union, which encompass creating a society centered around its people and enacting Agenda 2063 for collective prosperity and welfare, unity, and integration, as well as a continent of liberated citizens and realms where the potential of women and youth is completely fulfilled.
A total of six (6) laureates will be recognized for their considerable support of the WPS and YPS agendas within their nation or community. ...
