Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu CON SAN, a Nigerian politician and attorney, was born on July 21, 1956, and left this world on December 27, 2023, after an extended battle with leukemia. He served as the governor of Ondo State from 24 February 2017 until 27 December 2023. In 2008, he advanced from his role as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to the presidency of the Nigerian Bar Association. Furthermore, Akeredolu was the Managing Partner of Olujinmi & Akeredolu, a legal firm he co-established with Chief Akin Olujinmi, a past Nigerian Attorney General and Minister for Justice.
