Francis Rossi (born Francis Dominic Nicholas Michael Rossi, OBE, on May 29, 1949) is an English singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He founded Status Quo and is the only member to have stayed with the band throughout its history. Known for his unique voice, energetic shows, and signature guitar style, Rossi has led Status Quo for more than sixty years. The band has sold over 128 million albums worldwide, with hits such as “Down Down,” “Caroline,” “Rockin’ All Over the World,” and “Whatever You Want.”
